Vacancy Description

Social Work Assistant
Social Work and Counselling Services
We require a Tutor/Therapist to work occasional hours on
weekdays, with regular hours on evenings and weekends, on
multi-disciplinary programmes incorporating Applied Behaviour
Analysis, Verbal Behaviour, Occupational Therapy and Speech
and Language Therapy.
The position will be working with children and adults with
autism and related conditions in the Pembrokeshire area.
Some day to day tasks will involve but not be limited to;
-Implement behavioural programs with individual children,
-Implement occupational therapy programs,
-Implement speech and language therapy programs,
-Perform administration duties as required, e.g. telephone
answering, office work etc.,
-Resource organisation as required,
-Data taking,
-Some farm activities with clients,
-Cleaning of specialist centre as required,
-Some cooking activities required,
-Assisting senior staff when required such as with note taking,
This position would suit people with an interest in special needs
education, speech and language therapy, occupational therapy
or behaviour therapy.
Training to become a Registered Behaviour Technician will be
provided and there could also be the possibility to train to
become an Occupational Therapist Assistant.

Experience is not required.
Own transport is essential due to the nature of the role.
Applicants should be over 18years of age due to working with
children. Applicants will be subject to DBS check, which is paid
for by the company.

Qualification(s) Required

5 GCSE at C or equivalent
