Based in the Marketing and PR Team (Press Office)
- Learn how to write media stories for the press.
- Help with uploading information onto the Council's social media accounts.
- Learn how to write articles for magazines, newspapers and blogs.
- Help to anyalyse and evaluate the Council's media coverage.
- Accompany team members to media briefings and meetings and help with taking minutes and preparing for the meetings.
Helping out with the organising of events and when required to be present at the events.

Interview arrangements

Those shortlisted for interview will be asked to attend and interview with the Digital, Brand and Communications Lead Officer and the Marketing and PR Team Leader at the Guildhall.
You will be asked to give a short presentation (10 minutes maximum) the topic will be shared in advance. A more formal face to face interview will follow.
An element of the interview will be undertaken through the medium of Welsh unless the candidate wishes for the whole interview to be conducted in Welsh.
