FARMERS’ is looking for a highly motivated individual
to work in close cooperation with the director to help
the business grow.
FARMERS' are growers and distillers of lavender and
makers of body care products sold internationally.
The farm located south of Builth Wells and north of
Brecon, is a hub of activity year round and especially
in summer at harvest time.
Year round the focus at FARMERS’ is on selling,
distribution, product development, attending fairs and
trade shows.
The company seeks a college graduate but applicants
with work experience, which may equal a college
degree, are welcome. 
Responsibilities:
- Develop strategies for growth
- Correspond with stockists and find new ones
- Oversee product development
- Ensure daily smooth running of the business
- Assist with design and development of
promotional materials
As FARMERS’ is a very small team, the successful
candidate – like all members of staff - will be expected
to help when necessary across the range of activities
on the farm:
- Greet visitors to the farm and help in the farm
shop
- Assist in the filling room on production days
- Help despatch on line and shop orders
Other opportunities include:
- Working with the team at fairs
- Contributing ideas in creative sessions
- Contributing content across social media
platforms
- Contributing ideas for events on the farm
This busy position comes with plenty of opportunity
for the candidate to grow into a senior position of
responsibility.

Desirable personal qualities

Friendly, outgoing, team player, willingness to
learn, sense of humour.
Good listening ability and an interest in meeting the
public are assets.  Candidates need a high standard of
personal hygiene.
As there is no public transport to the farm, the
candidates will need their own vehicle. Occasionally the
candidates will be asked to drive their own vehicle for
work purposes.
Good grammar, spelling and organisational skills are
an asset.
Spoken and written Welsh is an advantage.

Qualification(s) Required

1 Degree at Pass or equivalent

Welsh Language Requirements

Welsh Spoken Skills: Advantage.
Welsh Written Skills: Advantage.
